The HASH AI (Human-centered, Accessible, Safe AI with Health applications) Lab at the School of Engineering Medicine, Texas A&M University, led by Dr. Yanmin Gong, is dedicated to building safe, accessible, and human-centered AI systems that benefit people and society. Our research focuses on understanding and mitigating the risks of large language models and AI in high-stakes domains, ensuring that AI acts as intended, remains aligned with human values, and does no harm—particularly in health and clinical applications.
